Sick Kiddos

For the first time in my daughters 28 months she became sick. A fever, congestion, cough. It lasted a week. She nursed like crazy that whole week. Thankfully it was rather mild and she got through it like a trooper. I think it was harder on me because I had never had a sick child to take care of.My almost 5 month old developed some nasal congestion. It never went past that for him.I know it might sound silly, but I think that I have never felt so sure about breastfeeding as when my kids were sick and I knew that it would really help them and it was something I could do to make them feel better.
